Intel's Galileo creation program

Join the second wave of the European Galileo K-12 content creation program. The aim of this initiative is get on board the most creative minds to design Galileo based comprehensive activity scenarios that will be easily replicable by others and that that will get young people excited about Galileo and programming. What we are looking for are out of the box ideas for workshops/classes/curricular activities aimed and primary and secondary school pupils.

The most interesting, unique, out-of-the-box proposals will go through to phase two in which:

 

  • you will get a donation of 5 or 10 Galileo boards (depending on the scale of your project)
  • you’ll get access to Intel Galileo resources
  • we will ask you to provide full scenarios in the attached template - Intel Galileo Activity Template by 30th of June 2015
  • your activities will be posted on official Intel Galileo website

The Intel® Galileo board is a microcontroller board based on the Intel® Quark SoC X1000 application processor, a 32-bit Intel® Pentium® brand system on a chip (SoC). It is the first board based on Intel® architecture designed to be hardware and software pin-compatible with shields designed for the Arduino Uno* R3. This platform provides the ease of Intel architecture development through support for the Microsoft Windows*, Mac OS*, and Linux* host operating systems.
